CHURCh AT nANTUCKET

Playing our part in bringing the Kingdom of heaven to earth

W

We extend a special welcome to those that are single, married, divorced, gay, filthy rich, dirt poor, Welsh, English or from other foreign lands.

We extend a special welcome to those with crying new borns, those who are skinny as a rake or can afford to lose a few pounds.

We welcome you if you can sing like Susan Boyle or if you’re like our Pastor who can’t carry a note.

You’re welcome here if you’re just browsing, just woken up or just got out of prison.

We don’t care if you’re over dressed, under dressed, cross dressed, more catholic than the Pope or haven’t been to church since little jonny’s christening.

We extend a special welcome to those that are over 60 but not grown up yet and to teenagers who are growing up too fast.

We welcome stressed mums, overworked dads, not quite made it musicians, allotment owners, latte sippers, vegetarians and junk food eaters.

We welcome those that are in recovery or who are still addicted.

We welcome you if you are having problems or have none, if you’re down in the dumps or if life is great or if you don’t like organised religion, we’ve been there too.

If you blew all your offering at the bookies you’re welcome here.

We offer a special welcome to those that think the earth is flat, work too hard, don’t work, can’t spell or came because grandma is in town and wanted to go to church.

We welcome those that are inked, pierced or both.

We offer a special welcome to those that could use a prayer right now, had religion shoved down their throat as a kid or got lost looking for the chippy and wound up here by mistake.

We welcome the flexible, inflexible, tolerant, intolerant, those who laughed and those that gasped at this welcome.

We welcome tourists, seekers, doubters, bleeding hearts and you.

We hope you feel welcome, please get in touch.
